We are sailing! Left yesterday morning, and already made 200 miles, pushed by a 25 knots breeze from the NE. Average speed during last 24 hors was 8 knots. Our sea legs are slowly coming back, after a long time sailing in protected waters in Brazil.

We are sailing with a reduced crew of 4 in total: Eduardo, Gaston and Wife Isa, and myself. Now Eduardo is on swift, Gaston and Isa are cooking Tacos! We are sailing way offshore, some 150 miles from land, in deep waters -around 2000 mts, with blue skies and a deep dark blue sea water. Weather forecast is good, with an small instability area expected for tomorrow night, although short in time. We should be arriving in Colonia, Uruguay, in 5/6 days, if everything goes well.

After lunch we plan to take a water sample, to continue with the Micro-Plastic project.

Tonight at 21 hors Local we’ll update our position again.
