Plans A, B, C… – Laura

in
Antarctic Expeditions

When in Antarctica you must listen to Antarctica. Sometimes that means whales breeching and stopping the boat and watching, changing theplans for the day – plan A becomes B and then C. Sometimes it means Antarctica throws some wind, snow and clouds, so you keep on going with the plans until one works! Today we are on plan C or D – the goal was to go further north, but the seas and wind were against us, so Antarctica tells us its not to be – at least today, so we’re now on a course to turn in to Foyn Harbor for the night, get a good nights rest, and start early tomorrow, with better weather predicted to continue to Deception Islands!
