Merry Christmas to all from the crew of Ocean Tramp – From Fede, Laura, Miguel, Bertrand, Donna, Meryl, Wendy, Heike, Katherine, Annie, and Adam.
All are happy and well. We got a Christmas Eve treat today – as we were sailing from Deception Island to Trinity Island We crossed through a large krill patch, which meant MANY humpback whales eating. It was incredible. We saw and heard so many whales – we saw their tails, their mouths, even their now vestige hair follicles. And to top it off it was snowing. More details later from Annie!
We hope Santa will visit us tonight. According to Google tracker last year he did make it to Antarctica! So we are hopeful again this year.
