On day two after leaving the Falklands / Malvinas there were take offs, fly bys, landings, near misses – constant action in the skies. The Albatross were out in full force enjoying the day – the joys of sailing in the Southern Ocean! This was better than Heathrow airport.

All is well onboard as we make our way north. We celebrated Easter with some very yummy Falkland Island Mutton. The easter bunny visited us with some fantastic easter eggs (and after either mint easter egg – sounds good to me). We had to forgo the easter egg hunt as the boat was rolling a bit too much. Oh well. I did manage to find some Easter Crackers in the store, so we “snapped” them, wore yellow crowns and shared some corny easter jokes – Q: What did one egg say to the other? A: Heard any good yokes recently? All in all a very nice day.

We continue north and each day the air gets a bit warmer – Brazil here we come!
