Herbal Teas

in
Antarctic Expeditions

And we’re off again… We spent the last two weeks in Stanley, Falkland Islands/Malvinas enjoying the islands and enjoying the end of the season. A huge thanks to the people of Stanley for their always super warm welcome and great hospitality. Now we are sailing north to Brazil – for warmer weather and for dry dock.

Before I go on, however I must apologize to anyone who came over to our boat in Stanley for tea…. It turns out once or twice Fede took a packet from a large jar that said “herbal mix” he thought it was some herbal tea blend that I bought in bulk. Never mind that it had an odd taste / smell…. Actually he was pulling out a packet of herbs mixed for soups – bay leaf, thyme and a few others. So he may inadvertently served a tea of bay leaf to a few friends – Apologizes if it wasn’t the English tea you were looking for.

Its three of us sailing north – Fede, myself (Laura), and Tomi, from Ushuaia for the trip. More updates as we go further north. For now we are preparing for Easter onboard tomorrow…
