Hans Hansson – Enjoying the Sea ice

in
Antarctic Expeditions

Antarctica lives by the season – each trip observe as the continent and the wildlife change around us – eggs producing tiny chicks, growing into chicks running around everywhere. 2m of snow melting down to the rocks. Winter sea ice disappearing through the season. In the back bay near Port Lockroy, we explored some of the last sea ice of the season!
