After more than 3 days in Fjord Fouque we left our cozy cove. The morning was ominous, with low hanging clouds and fog. Perfect for some amazing photos as we left the cove and and great counter to the orange and pink mornings we had on other early start days. Once out of the fjord Fede used some of the morning to explore fjords that we had never entered, including one narrow fjord that gets so narrow there were only a few meters on either side of the boat!
The days continue to be oddly warm and the green trees and blue glaciers continue to remind Giff of Alaska. After one more exploratory swing through a fjord, we entered Estero Coloane, what would be our fjord home for the evening. We love this fjord, as there are many glaciers and waterfalls, including one that is not hanging, but right at eye level. After a filling lunch Giff and Liz took the Zodiac to explore and shoot some footage, while Fede and I stayed back onboard. Fede worked his magic on 2 toilet switches that had decided to stop and I worked on a secret video for Giff and liz (luckily they are not reading this blog!) They will watch it though in a few days!
We fall asleep tonight to the continuous flow of the waterfall, but only a few hundred meters away. That and then the rain put us deeply to sleep.
